KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) says 11 tankers bringing low-quality oil from Iran were denied entry into western Farah province.
ANSA wrote on its Twitter page that the 11 tankers were returned to Iran from Farah port.
The authority said it was taking serious and practical steps to prevent low-quality oil imports and asked all traders to import high-quality goods to the country.
Three days ago, 16 tankers carrying low-quality oil from Iran to the country were sent back to Iran through Farah port.
Earlier, ANSA officials had told a press conference in Kabul that about 60,000 tankers of petroleum products entered the country in 1401 solar year and 1,000 of them carrying low-quality fuel were returned.
