ICRC donates 16 ambulances to ARCS

KABUL (Pajhwok): The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has donated 16 ambulances to the Afghanistan Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS).

ARCS tweeted that the ambulances were equipped with the communication system.

Maulvi Matiul-Haq Khalis, acting director of ARCS, said two of the ambulances would be used at the centre and the rest in different zones.

Khalis hoped other international organisations would also cooperate with ARCS in terms of capacity building.
