KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan ambassador has renewed commitment for the development of commercial transactions with Afghanistan and vowed full cooperation in this area.
Acting Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir met Pakistan Charge d’Affaires Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani and the accompanying delegation in Kabul on Saturday, the state-run news agency said.
According to the source, Nizamani said that the ground had been paved for the development of bilateral trade of the two sides and they would not spare any cooperation in this regard.
Nizamani said his country always stressed the need on interaction with the caretaker government and shared its positive views with the world regarding the release of frozen Afghan assets and humanitarian assistance.
For his part, Maulvi Kabir said Afghanistan wanted positive and cordial ties with all its neighbors.
The acting premier thanked Pakistan for hosting Afghan refugees, saying both sides should expand their relations about the regional transit.
Maulvi Kabir asked the Pakistani side to facilitate visa issuance and solve the problems of Afghan refugees in the country and also create facilities at Spin Boldak and Torkham crossing points.
Nizamani assured full cooperation in all areas and would solve the problems of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
