JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two families reconciled and ended their 25 years old enmity in the Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province after mediation of tribal elders and local officials.
According to local officials, the two families of Arab tribe have reconciled in Saracha area of the district after mediation of tribal elders and religious scholars.
Qari Mohammad Imran, district administrative chief, said the enmity between the families of Zamir and Abdul Manan had been surfaced after the killing of two individuals and injuring of five others, including women and children.
He said the two families forgave each other and vowed to live in peace. Both the families thanked the tribal elders and local officials for their efforts to end their enmity.
