Govt approves budget for fiscal year 1402

KABUL (Pajhwok): The caretaker government on Saturday approved the national budget for fiscal year 1402 after more than two months of delay.

Zabihullah Mujahid, IEA spokesman, told media: “The budget was delayed for one and half month because the formation process had to be finalized and at last the budget was approved.”

He did not provide further information about the amount of the budget. However, last fiscal year’s budget was set at 231 billion afghanis.
