NEILI (Pajhwok): A woman has committed suicide in Kajran district of central Daikundi province, police said on Tuesday.
Provincial police spokesman Ghulam Javid told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in Minara village of the district yesterday.
Javid said the woman killed herself by consuming narcotics.
It was unclear why the woman took the extreme step, Javed said the woman had previously also attempted to commit suicide, but saved by her relatives.
