Badghis man shot dead, killer escapes

QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunman has gunned down an individual in the capital of western Badghis province.

The incident took place in Baghaki area of Qala-i-Naw City in limits of 1^st police district late on Friday night, police headquarters in a statement said.

The statement said: “A person was shot dead in his house by unknown gunman inside his house in Baghaki area at around 3:00am on Friday night.”

The killer managed to flee the area, but a manhunt launched for him, the source added.
