KABUL (Pajhwok): Hajj and Religious Affairs Minister Mawlavi Noor Mohammad Saqib has travelled to Saudi Arabia to monitor the Hajj rituals and attend the meeting of Hajj and Religious Affairs Ministers, according to a statement on Sunday.
On its Twitter handle the ministry said Mawlavi Saqib was welcomed by Hajj Affairs officials of Saudi Arabia officials after landing in Jeddah.
Talking to reporters Mawlavi Saqib said that the purpose of his visit was to monitor the Hajj Committees work day and night in Macca and Madina and to see the facilities offered to Afghan pilgrims.
