LASHKARGHAH (Pajhwok): At least six people have been arrested in connection with smuggling of iron out of country in the Garamser district of southern Helmand province.
Maulvi Mohammad Qasir Riaz, deputy director of information and culture, told Pajhwok Afghan News that security forces detained six individuals with iron-laden vehicles in the Safar area of the district on Tuesday.
He said the detainees wanted to smuggle the iron to illegally to abroad.
