Heavy rain, floods predicted in 15 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted heavy rain and floods in 15 provinces of the country.

In a statement, the department said that heavy rainfall and floods were expected today and tomorrow in Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjsher and Kabul.

It said 10 to 20 centimeters rainfall was expected in different areas.
