Government extends Eid holidays to five days

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs says Saturday is the last day of holidays on Eidul Azha and government officials should return to work on Sunday.

The ministry published a notification on its twitter about Eid holidays and said: “All the departments are informed that the last day of the holidays given on the occasion of Eid is Saturday.”

The sources added official work will resume on Sunday (14th of Dhul-Hijjah).

Earlier, the government had announced public holiday on Arafat day and a three-day Eid holidays.
