KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan officials have asked British charge de ’affaires to Afghanistan Robert Chatterton Dickson to boldly and constructively interact with the caretaker government.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), tweeted that Acting Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met Robert Chatterton Dickson in Kabul and both discussed many issues of mutual interest.
Muttaqi praised UK’s stance that it would not support an armed opposition against the Afghan government and added: “Britain should come forward boldly for interaction (with the Islamic Emirate).”
