KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 100 Afghan students, including girls, have graduated from Uzbek language and railway services faculties of the special higher education center for Afghans in Uzbekistan.

The graduation ceremony of the Afghan students was held in the Temrez Center for Education in Afghanistan, in Termez, Uzbekistan, after a four-year study period.

The graduates said they were ready to serve their country on return.

Maulvi Mohammad Idris, acting consul general inTemrez, who participated in the graduation ceremony, said educated  youth could play a pivotal role in the development and prosperity of their country.

He said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was committed to providing work and employment opportunities to the young people.
