KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Embassy in Islamabad says Pakistani authorities have promised that the refugees stranded in Torkhan will be allowed soon to cross into their homeland.
Many Afghans without proper travel or whose visas have expired visas have been stuck for weeks on the Pakistan side of the Durand Line,.
The Afghans had been allowed to enter their country on the basis of their national identity cards -- tazkiras -- during EidUlAdha holidays. However, they were barred from crossing into their country.
