TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): The governor of central Urugan province says non-governmental organizations (NGOs) could only implement projects that serve the interest of the people and the country.
Governor Maulvi Muhammad Ali Jan Ahmad, who held a meeting with NGOs’ representatives on Saturday, asked the organizations not to employ corrupt and security personnel of the previous government.
He said: “According to our information, some organizations have given jobs to those dismissed from their jobs due to corruption by the Provincial Administration Clearance Commission and former soldiers who had been fighting against the Islamic Emirate for years.”
