KABUL (Pajhwok): The Pen Path Foundation says the case of its founder Matiullah Wesa has been referred to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), but the Kabul police spurned the claim as baseless.
Wesa was arrested in Kabul on March 28 this year, when IEA spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) had picked him for questioning about his arbitrary actions.
The Pen Path Foundation tweeted on Monday: “We want the government to give us information about Wesa’s health and whereabouts.”
It claimed Wesa, advocating for the education of boys and girls, has been held in prison . . .
