KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in areas of urban planning and capacity building, an official of the neighboring country has said.
Iran Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s Afghanistan advisor Seyed Hossein Mirshaf called on acting deputy minister of Housing and Urban Development of Afghanistan Maulvi Rohullah Ahmadi.
The two sides discussed bilateral urban cooperation, capacity building and investment in related projects, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development said in a statement.
Ahmadi said his ministry needed cooperation in the areas of housing, planning and capacity building of its employees.
He added full security had been ensured across Afghanistan and investment opportunities existed in every field, especially in house and city construction.
Mirshaf said Afghanistan’s development was in favor of Iran and they would cooperate with Kabul in various urban areas and plans, capacity building and also in luring investors.
