KABUL (Pajhwok): As many as 3,573 development projects worth over $1.64 billion were launched across the country in the past one year, says the Ministry of Economy (MoE).
At least 2,233 of the projects were completed while the remaining 1,340 are still under implementation, the ministry’s spokesman said on Sunday.
Abdul Rahman Habib offered this information at what he called an accountability meeting.
Habib said: “The implementation plan for the 3,573 development schemes costing over $1.64 billion has been reported to MoE through the budgetary information system.”
