JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A reporter with Safa Radio Irfanullah Baidar has been released after spending 13 days in custody in eastern Nangarhar province.
Baidar went missing along with his car from Eidgah mosque in Jalalabad City nearly two weeks ago.
Officials say Irfanullah Baidar’s arrest was not related to his profession, but due to personal matters.
Earlier, the Afghanistan Journalists Center in a statement had said that Baidar was missing for a week and urged security forces to release him.
