ATLANTA (Pajhwok): The delegation led by Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi’s has held a flurry of meetings with ambassadors and special representatives of several countries in Doha.
The visiting team met representatives of the US, the UK, Spain, South Korea, Holland, Italy, Australia and Canada in the Qatari capital, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said.
Muttaqi discussed the latest political, economic and security, situation, as well as the caretaker government’s policies on good governance and counter-narcotics.
Muttaqi shared details of the counter-narcotics struggle, launch of hundreds of projects and other IEA achievements with his interlocutors.
At the meeting, a Finance Ministry representative briefed the diplomats on the financial and economic situation of Afghanistan and banking mechanisms.
Treasury head Nusratullah Mahmood presented information about the financial and economic situation of Afghanistan, the MoFA added.
Mohammad Abbas Samah, head of operation at the Ministry of Finance, highlighted the steps taken to ensure banking sector transparency and mechanisms.
