ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Afghan Taekwondo players have won two silver and four bronze medals in an open competition held in South Korea on Thursday.
Zabihullah Shahzad, a spokesman for the Taekwondo Federation, said 220 players from about 30 countries participated in the competitions in South Korea.
He said the Afghans defeated their rivals from US, Korea, Australia, Iraq and Cananda
According to Shahzad, Afghan players Ramin Amini, Hekmatullah Zain, Ramish Hussaini and Ali Akbar Amiri won bronze medals while Muhssain Razai and Mohammad Shukran clinched silver medals.
