PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): More than a dozen Afghan citizens have been detained during raids in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) said 13 Afghans living illegally in the city were arrested in Mauripur and Machhar Colony on Friday.
The Afghans did not possess valid travel documents, one CTD official said, adding the detainees had been handed over to the police stations concerned for further proceedings.
Documents of 46 nationals were checked during the raids and 13 were found living illegally in Karachi, a spokesperson said.
