KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A cricket tournament titled ‘Maarif Jam’ kicked off between students of religious seminaries and schools in southeastern Khost province on Sunday.
The 10-over matches are organized by some youth volunteers in the province in the framework of the Khost Education Department and the provincial Cricket Department.
The volunteers said the tournament was aimed at eliminating the gap between religious seminaries and schools and to create healthy activities for the youth.
