LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A non-governmental organization has set up 30 new health center at a cost of five million US dollars in the capital and various districts of southern Helmand province.
Helmand’s Public Health Department says the health centers have been established by the Action Against Hunger (AAH) organization.
Public Health Director Dr. Syed Ahmad Saeed told Pajhwok that four health centers were set up in Baghran, four in Nawzad, two in Kajaki, one in Sangin, two in Khanshin, three in Nad Ali, one in Washer, and three in Nawa districts.
The same organization has already established 10 health centers in the province, with the total cost reaching five million US dollars.
Dr. Syed Ahmad Saeed said the health centers besides vaccination would provide health services in various fields.
