JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two children were killed when unknown individuals lobbed two hand grenades into a house in Sara Rud district of eastern Nangarhar province last night.
Another three persons were injured in the incident that took place in Sheikh Mesri township, police spokesman Abdul Basir Zabuli told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A seven-year old daughter and a five-year-old son of Sayed Afzal were killed in the attack while Afzal, his wife and another son were wounded, Zabuli said.
According to Zabuli’s information, Sayed Afzal has no enmity with anyone and the motive behind the attack remains unknown . . .
