KABUL (Pajhwok): US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Head Michael MacCaul has called for greater monitoring of US assistance to Afghanistan, according to a media report on Thursday.
VoA reported that MacCaul has asked White House to increased monitoring of aid dispatched to Afghanistan.
Earlier, Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) reported that the Taliban had accessed the US assistance to Afghanistan and used them for their own interest.
