ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Afghanistan have trounced Kyrgyzstan in their first game of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) U-17 Championship.
The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said the competition started in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran are participating in the event.
It added Afghanistan stayed ahead 2-0 in the first half. In the second half, the national squad scored another goal and recorded an emphatic 3-0 triumph.
Afghanistan’s Yasir Safi was declared the man of the match.
