KABUL (Pajhwok): Three hundred punishment Tazeer punishment and two Qisas verdicts of the country’s apex court had been implemented last year, an official said on Tuesday.
Mawlavi Abdul Rahim Rashid, the foreign communication in-charge of the Supreme Court, told reporters here Qisas verdict executed in Farah and Laghman provinces while 300 Tazeer verdicts were implemented in different provinces.
He said another Qisas verdict was about to implement in Sar-i-Pul province but the accused was pardoned.
Supreme Court officials did not say how many men and women received these punishments.
