KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran’s Tasnim news agency says its photographer and editor Mohammad Hossein Welayati has been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Emirate in Kabul.
Tansim news agency wrote in its X handle on Saturday Welayati entered Afghanistan legally and was in Kabul for 10 days. He was arrested at the Kabul airport while returning to his country without any reasonable explanation.
The agency wrote that security forces did not provide any details about Welayati’s arrest.
The media outlet hoped that the Islamic Emirate would take action to release Mohammad Hossein Welayati without any delay.
