ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Three crystal meth producing factories have been destroyed after being discovered in Delaram district of northwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Tuesday.
Mullah Abdul Wasi Omar, chief of anti-narcotics branch of the district, told Pajhwok Afghan News security forces discovered and destroyed three crystal meth drug producing factories during separate operations in the district on Tuesday.
He said the factories discovered in three areas had been producing kilos of crystal meth on a daily basis.
He added no one had been arrested in connection with the factories, but efforts were underway to arrest the perpetrators.
He asked the people to cooperate with the government in maintaining security and arresting criminals.
