PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistani security forces claim to have killed nearly a dozen alleged militants in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
Eight TTP and IS fighters were killed in intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Quetta and Washuk districts on Saturday, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said.
Also on Saturday, CTD said, three militants were killed in an encounter in the Jamrud tehsil of Khyber tribal district.
In Balochistan, the first raid was conducted in a mountainous area of Washuk -- a district bordering Iran.
