SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A two-day training for the employees of Refugees and Repatriation Department in northern Jawzjan province regarding the rights of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), illegal migration and its negative impact has been completed, an official said on Monday.
The training was organized by the Afghan Paramount Welfare & Development Organization (APWDO).
APWDO Official Mohammad Halim Daqiq told Pajhwok Afghan News 10 employees of the Refugees Department participated in the training which was organized for their capacity building.
Besides the rights of IDPs, information regarding illegal migration and its negative consequences were also provided to the participants.
Mullah Amanullah Talha, Refugees and Repatriation Department director, hailed the organization of capacity building scheme and said important issues were taught to the participants during the training.
Referring to the rights of displaced persons and illegal migrants he said these were important subjects and important issues related to these issues were discussed.
He said: “Information told to us during these three days were beneficial and vital, we want NGOs to arrange similar capacity building training in the future as well.”
Training organizers said that similar programs would continue in the future and more youth would be provided with similar capacity building training.
