KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): One person was killed and another injured when a small fuel tanker exploded in this capital city of southern Kandahar province on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place on Rawaza road in the limits of 3rd security district of Kandahar city.
The fuel tanker exploded when a blacksmith, Rohullah, was repairing it.
Nada Mohammad, a shopkeeper in the area, told Pajhwok that Rohullah died in the incident and one of his assistants was injured.
Local officials have so far said nothing about the incident.
