KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and the Japanese ambassador have discussed the upcoming meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
Ambassador Takashi Okada hailed the current security environment in Afghanistan, the fight against narcotics and economic development as good achievements of the caretaker government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Okada reiterated the commitment of the Japanese government to stronger relations with Afghanistan and briefed Muttaqi about the UNSC session on Afghanistan.
