PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A young Afghan woman, living in Edhi Homes in Pakistan’s Lahore city has been reunited with her family after 18 months.
An unidentified woman had brought the victim, identified as Mursal, from Afghanistan to Lahore, promising her a gainful job.
After being brought to Edhi Homes, local traffic police reached out to Mursal’s relatives with the help of the Afghan Embassy.
Mursal, 30, will be transported to her home in Kotal on the suburb of Kabul. The search for the woman’s family was initially impeded by the language barrier.
