Elderly woman mysteriously killed in Takhar

TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have killed a 60-year-old woman in the Khwaja Ghar district of northern Takhar province, an official said on Monday.

Police spokesman Abdul Mobeen said the elderly woman, a resident of Isfand area of Khwaja Ghar district, killed under mysterious condition by unknown armed men two days ago.

He said security forces had arrested the son of the slain women against her murder. The detainee is currently being interrogated.
