JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Gunmen have killed a former jihadi commander and resident of Rodat district in eastern Nangarhar province.
Officials say preliminary investigation shows Muqadas Bilal was killed due to personal enmity.
Police spokesman Abdul Basir Zabuli told Pajhwok Afghan News Bilal, who was originally from Baru area of Rodat district, was killed in the seventh district of Jalalabad city.
He said: “Sheikh Muqadas Sahib was from Rodat district, he was standing in front of his relatives’ house in Ghochka area when gunmen in a red-colored car opened fire at him and killed him”.
