KABUL (Pajhwok): United States special representatives for Afghanistan Thomas West and for women and human rights in Afghanistan Rina Amiri met with Turkish deputy foreign minister Ahmet Yildiz.
Thomas West wrote on X they discussed human rights and economic situation in Afghanistan, appreciating Turkey's efforts to support education and economic stability in the war-torn country.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey has not commented on the meeting.
