Pakistani forces open fire on Afghan civilians in Spin Boldak

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Three civilians have been injured when Pakistani forces opened fire at them at Wesh-Chaman gate in Spin Boldak district of southern Kandahar province along the Durand Line.

In a statement, the district police office said the incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at around 3:00pm.

Two children and an elderly man were injured after the Pakistani forces opened fire on them.

Kandahar police headquarters also said in a statement the Afghan forces also retaliated and civilians on both sides suffered casualties in the firing.

On the other hand, Pakistani side claimed that the Afghan security forces first opened fire, killing two people and injuring one.
