Afghanistan wins silver medal in Asian Games final

KABUL (Pajhwok): Indian-A team won the final of men’s cricket competition at Asian games on the bases of higher-seeded team after the rain abandoned the play.

India won the toss and invited Afghanistan to bat first. Afghanistan scored 112 runs in the loss of 18.2 overs when the rain came and abandoned the play.

According to the Afghan Cricket Board, after 210 and 2018 it was the 3^rd time that Afghan cricket team participated in the Asian Games and brought silver medal.

Afghanistan now travels to Oman where it will play two ODI and five T20 games.
