KABUL (Pajhwok): The ‘slamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) has termed the forced displacement of a large number of Palestinians from northern Gaza strip a war crime and said the current situation reflected upon the failure of existing international order.

The IEA government in a statement again condemned Israel attack on Gaza and declared its full support and backing from the people of Palestine.

Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi on his Twitter handle wrote: “Forced displacement efforts of more than 1.2 million Palestinians from northern Gaza Strip & the planned annexation of Palestinian territories amounts to war crimes, & the ineffective positions taken by world bodies showed unprecedented failure of the current international order.”

Nearly 2,000 people have been killed and over 7,500 other injured as a result of heavy clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians from the past one week.

Reaffirms support

In a detailed statement, the IEA government reaffirmed its support to the people of Palestine and said Israeli forces carried out heavy bombardment on Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel warned Palestinians to leave their homes and banned the supply of basic live-saving items. The IEA strongly condemns such inhuman and tyrant restrictions in strong words.

“Once again, we express our sympathy and support to the oppressed people of Palestine and we ask the rest of the Islamic world to help the oppressed Palestinians and not remain indifferent in this cuticle situation.”

Human rights champions are silent

The acting Afghan government said: “Those countries and organizations that used the issue of human and human rights, especially the rights of women and children, to intervene in the affairs of other independent countries, why are they are openly violating the rights of Palestinian women, men and children facing terror today? These countries are silent over the suppression of Palestinian people and support the oppressor.”

The source said that human rights issue is not important to these countries, adding that they use it only when their nefarious designs are linked.

Forced displacement amount to war crime
