KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan weight lifter Fahim Rahimi has defeated his Chinese and Saudi Arabian opponents during the ongoing Paralympics weight lifting competitions hosted by China.
Afghanistan Olympic Committee on its Twitter handle wrote that Afghan weightlifter Rahimi successfully lifted up to 146 kilogram weight and beat his opponents from Saudi Arabia and India.
Paralympics games are underway in China’s Hangzu province from October 22. Afghan Taekwondo team member Ibrahim Danish also defeated his Iraqi rival.
