TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): A campaign has been launched to prevent noise pollution and remove tinted glasses from vehicles in central Uruzgan province, police said on Tuesday.
Police chief Maulvi Muhmmad Rafiq Khadim said the campaign was aimed at preventing noise pollution, removing tinted glasses and illegal lights from vehicles.
Toryalai, a resident of Tirinkot, the provincial capital, said police should take serious action against people disrupting urban order and using black films.
He said some motorcyclists had removed silencers to make loud noise which disturbed people.
