DAB sets up new transaction system for domestic banks

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has created a new system of transactions (payments) offering more facilities for domestic lenders, the Ministry of Finance said on Monday.

On its X handle, MoF wrote the Automated Clearing Settlement System (ACSS) could be easily connected with the ministry’s Standard Integrated Government Tax Administration System (SIGTAS) and Afghanistan Financial Management Information System (AFMIS), as well as DAB’s Central Banking System (CBS).

The system would yield positive results in terms of national revenue, government employees’ salary payments and banking sectors besides enhancing transparency in related sectors.
