Extra seats on passenger buses removed: MoTCA

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) has announced suspending operations of 17 passenger buses and removing extra seats on some of the vehicles.

MoTCA wrote on its X handle the technical condition of 52 buses was monitored during the process and non-standard seats on some buses were removed.

Earlier, the ministry’s technical safety department had removed extra and non-standard seats on 125 buses at some terminals of Kabul and suspended the operation of 29 buses due to technical problems.

It said the process had been initiated to ensure the safety of passengers and provide standard services for them.
