KABUL (Pajhwok): Details of the sale of ticket for the T20 match between Afghanistan and India have been unveiled by the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA).

Cost of highest denomination is Rs 5947 for south pavilion’s first floor, followed by Rs 5576 for the second and Rs 4956 for the lower, according to The Times of India.

Online ticket sales for the highly anticipated T20 night game will commence on December 30, starting at 6am and will continue until the stock lasts.

The website and mobile application will provide detailed terms of use and the procedure for purchasing tickets.

The T20 is scheduled to be played at Holkar Stadium in Indore on January 14, 2024.

On Monday morning, the application window for students’ concession tickets witnessed a massive response as it reached its capacity in barely 15 minutes after the commencement at 11am.

Student applications are being scrutinised by a five-member team, which are verifying documents for concession eligibility.

MPCA has partnered with a renowned agency to manage the online ticketing for the match. Tickets can be booked exclusively through the dedicated link on the MPCA designated website and portal only.

The tickets booked through the online system will be delivered to buyers via courier service. A student can only buy one ticket under the student concession and a maximum of four tickets can be brought of same or mixed categories in the general sale.

Additionally, children above three years of age will require a valid ticket for entry. Children under three will not be provided with a separate chair or space.

MPCA is expecting great response from spectators for this upcoming match. “The Afghanistan team has done exceptionally well in the World Cup and I am sure fans in Indore would be eager to see them play against India,” said MPCA President Abhilash Khandekar.
