KABUL (Pajhwok): Kazakhstan’s Supreme Court has removed the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) from its sanction, an official said on Friday.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on its Twitter handle wrote that Kazakhistan’s Ambassador Alim Khan Yasin Galdiev held a meeting with acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
During the meeting the envoy informed the minister about his country’s decision regarding the removal of the IEA from its sanctions list in his country.
Foreign Minister Muttaqi reaffirmed determinations for cordial ties with Kazakhstan and said both countries should continue mutual cooperation in different areas.
