KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) says more than 3,400 tankers with low quality fuel were denied entry to the country during the past one month.

ANSA wrote on its X handle today (Monday) that 3,463 tankers with low quality fuel were sent back from the country’s ports. The tankers carried over 10,000 tonnes of fuel.

ANSA added that it would continue to prevent the imports of low quality fuel to the country in the public interest.

Earlier, ANSA officials on December 27 said 30 tankers with low quality fuel were returned back to Iran.
