KABUL (Pajhwok): The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has donated 16 ambulances worth 20 million afghanis and Saudi Arabia has delivered food items worth 350,000 US dollars to the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS).
ARCS head Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis told a press conference they received the ambulances in Kabul today.
“ICRC has donated 16 ambulances to us.. and has promised to donate 22 more,” he added
ICRC deputy director of operations in Afghanistan on the occasion said they would continue to cooperate and partner with the Afghan Red Crescent Society. ”We will continue to help Afghans . . .
