BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Dozens of welfare projects have been executed at a cost of more than 50 million afghanis in central Bamyan province, an official said on Saturday.
Mullah Ziaullah Khadim, Bamyan rural rehabilitation and development director, told Pajhwok Afghan News the projects, funded by the United Nations Office for Projects Services (UNOPS), were put into service in Shibar district of the province.
He said the projects included reconstruction of 135 kilometers of roads, cleaning of 94 agriculture canals, construction of a 100-meter retaining wall and culverts.
